The State Street Corporation Lobby, with its sleek design and dramatic ambiance, includes the Sandra and Gerald Fineberg Art Wall featuring today’s most renowned contemporary art and a 140-square-foot elevator with glass walls that provide stunning views of the harbor. The lobby offers a refined setting for a seated dinner for up to 200 guests or a cocktail reception with plenty of room for dancing. 

The Common Room Venue

The Common Room

This elegant space showcases one of the best views of Boston Harbor, with its two floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors facing the water. The room is often used in conjunction with the Putnam Investments Plaza for a reception space. Make toasts and celebrate in the not-so Common Room, allowing your guests to experience a full range of emotions along with the vastness of the waterfront. 

The Common Room is also a place for a private moment, where bridal party members can refresh and relax before the wedding.

The Putnam Investments Plaza spans 3,500 square feet and merges with Boston’s 47-mile Harborwalk. This sheltered outdoor space offers the most scenic seats in the venue, creating a laid-back ambiance, striking views and refreshing bay breezes. The Plaza is the perfect location for a waterfront ceremonies as well as an alfresco cocktail hour. During inclement weather, it can be heated and tented for maximum guest comfort.

This 350-seat theater is located on the second and third floors of the museum and provides waterfront views along with the downtown skyline. The theater’s glass walls offer three layers of shade and can be adjusted depending on the ambiance you want to create—mood lighting or a sun-filled romance. Your guests will appreciate the elevated dinner and a roomy dance floor. It can also be used as an indoor ceremony space and readied for dinner while your guests partake in cocktail hour.
