In the summer of 2018, fifty distinguished guests gathered for an exceptional dining experience at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, one of the city’s most celebrated institutions.
The Catered Affair is proud to be the exclusive caterer at ICA Boston. Our experienced culinary team created an upscale New England clambake featuring an al fresco dinner for the client, who envisioned an intimate dining experience for some international guests of honor.
Elegant tabletop designs featuring lanterns and red and white plaid napkins created a refined yet relaxed ambiance on the Putnam Investments Plaza patio.
Guests were welcomed with glasses of wine, sparkling water, and a variety of hors d’oeuvres while they explored the venue’s modern architecture and enjoyed striking Boston Harbor views.

Following the cocktail reception, guests savored a multi-course sit-down dinner. Our culinary team crafted a summer-inspired menu full of flavorful, fresh ingredients.

The main course, a mouthwatering surf and turf duet, paid tribute to authentic Boston cuisine:
